Sue Cindy / The Tigress

Age 8. Blonde hair, pale skin. Usually wears jean dresses (owns about 20) and sneakers. Superhero costume: a black ninja suit with an all-over face mask; tiger stripes visible in the light, but usually looks just black.

Sue Cindy was not born with powers. She got electrocuted and survived; the key sign she had powers was that the electrocution of her whole arm was not painful. Everyone knows she was electrocuted, but nobody knows she has superpowers.

Powers and skills: Runs faster than light — so fast she cannot be seen, only the aftermath of her movement. Can levitate (lift herself off the ground, but not at speed) — “for when you don’t want to get on the ground.” Can teleport, but only to places she has already been. Can turn invisible: “she can literally walk into the room and they don’t know she’s there.” Has superhuman strength — could likely lift a minivan. Black belt in karate and judo; won two karate tournaments and three judo tournaments. Expert sword fighter; carries a sword in a sheath on her belt. Science genius — “a whiz at science.” Described as “sort of like the ninja Batman,” based on Batman (skills), Superman (speed), and Sonic (running speed).

Relationships: Works as Batman’s partner and backup. Knows Batman is Bruce Wayne — “close enough partners to know that.” Faces regular Batman villains: Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Mr. Freeze/Snowman, Killer Croc. Has caught the Riddler twice (with her tiger’s help). Lives with her grandmother, who knows her secret identity. Her grandmother taught science before retiring and taught Sue — “now Sue’s a master at it.” Grandmother inherited $55 billion and owned 22 or 23 companies; Sue also inherited some of the money. Sue’s family lives at the other end of Gotham City and “drives her wild.”

Pet: Tickles (superhero name: Super T) — a tiger, Sue’s favorite animal. Sue has a whistle only Tickles can hear; when heard, Tickles comes running. Tickles can run faster than the speed of sound and can turn invisible — two superpowers total. Helped catch the Riddler twice.
