Cy / Psy

Age 13. Was age two when her planet was destroyed and she arrived on Earth; has been on Earth 11 years. Named partly because of resemblance to Cyclops — she has one eye (lost the other in battle). Inspired by the Animorphs book series.

Appearance: Light purple skin, long dark purple hair. Two large black ears that stick up “as dark as night” — bunny-style but much bigger. Lizard tail (green). Cat legs (rear legs with fur) that allow her to stand upright and jump very high. Shark skin on her torso and arms up to the wrist; no fins, no shark teeth. Normal human-shaped hands at the wrist. Much taller than a normal 13-year-old.

Her hybrid appearance resulted from a “failed changing into animals” — she was trying to animorph and got stuck in between, making those features permanent. She can now animorph freely and return to her base form; the hybrid parts remain. Can turn into a bird (grows wings).

Abilities: Full animorphing — can morph into any animal. Can jump very high. Warrior training since 8 months old; demonstrated sword skills by age 5 (flipping in air, slicing a pillow in half with a metal sword, landing perfectly). Can transfer animorph power to others via a warrior artifact cube — “each of the warriors carries one of that cube.” Used this to make her pets “super pets.”

Backstory: Planet Warrior’s Way was destroyed when Cy was 2, pulled apart by a black hole near its star. Residents had only 2 days’ warning — detected when balls thrown in the air floated away due to reversing gravity. All aliens escaped in spaceships to different planets. Cy found a wormhole and ended up on Earth — the only alien from her planet to do so. She described feeling “like she was being stretched like spaghetti” in the wormhole. Her parents’ whereabouts are unknown: “she doesn’t know where in the galaxy they went.”

Current mission: Battles other aliens on Earth who are trying to take over; she is a defender. Has many displaced alien friends from different planets who fight alongside her.

New super pet: A small all-white puppy with one black spot and a pink spot on its black nose; animorphs into a big wolf.
