A large mansion. Grounds: approximately 30–40 acres. The family found a gold mine on the property.
Layout:
- First floor: Kitchen and dining room.
- Second floor: All animal rooms.
- Third floor: Cynthia‘s room, the girls’ rooms, and a spare room accessible only through a door from the girls’ room; a kitty door in that door because “that’s where all the cats came out.”
- Fourth floor: One big room made almost entirely of glass except for the door — “you can just see for miles at that fourth floor”; has a trapdoor in the floor to get down.
- Kitty doors throughout the whole house.
Animals: 50 total at time of recording. Includes a rescued parrot (found on the windowsill; its previous owner moved to Alaska and “didn’t know how much it would be to take care of a parrot in Alaska”) and a rescued mother cat with five kittens (found under a broken-down car).
