Ruby & Pearl (Pod Sisters)
Formation / birth: “They don’t give birth. They get formed.” Two jewels go into a “little pod” together; Ruby and Pearl were in the same pod. “They hatch out of that pod.” Being in the same pod is how they become sisters.
Ruby and Pearl are each one of the youngest of all the jewels, and best friends and sisters — formed in the same pod. Ruby was sent away from the nursery to work at a prison; Pearl stayed at the nursery after Ruby was sent away; they were separated.
