Silkwing (Silk)
Silver‘s youngest sister, age 1 day old at the time of the story. A silk wing with cat ears; also a rain wing. Named herself on day one by pointing at a tapestry of silkwings, then pointing to herself repeatedly; her first word was something like “Mi Sil.” Goes by Silk. Has color-changing silk (evidence of rain wing heritage). Considered prodigious for naming herself on day one.
