Silver

Age 10. A Wild Wing — a hybrid so mixed she belongs to no single tribe: half dragon, half cat, half person. Her grandmother was a dragon (giving her dragon wings and dragon abilities); her grandfather and father were human (giving her hair and bipedal walking); her mother was half cat, half person (giving her cat traits).

Appearance: Silver-and-gold fur (literally made of silver and gold, but feels like normal fur). Gold hair (literally made of gold, acts like normal hair). Cat paws. Can walk on two or four feet. Retractable claws — appears to have no claws at first, but has two tiny holes with tiny sharp tips; can extend to giant claws when needed. Also has a full dragon form she can morph into, resembling a mix of rain wing, ice wing, sea wing, sand wing, mud wing, sky wing, and night wing.

Wings: Silk wing subtype — born with only wing buds (no full wings). Went through metamorphosis at age 6 and got her wings. Learned to fly in two days — practiced by flapping off her parents’ car onto the grass “a hundred times.”

Powers/Abilities: Can spin silk from her wrists — some silk can set things on fire (fire silk), some just glows, some is normal. Carries a magic box that produces any item she thinks of, once per hour, limited to items for good/useful purposes — cannot make weapons to hurt innocents, cannot make self-multiplying wealth items.

Personality: Acrobatic from an early age — at two years old doing monkey bars taller than an adult, skipping every other bar.

Backstory: Bullied at school (a school for cat people) for appearing to have no claws; bullies called her “no claw.”

Job: Helps her mother at the vet for about two hours a day — goes to the forest and streets (on foot, bike, or flying ET-style carrying a bike) to find wounded or sick animals and brings them to the vet; uses her magic box for supplies like animal carriers.

Family: Parents were homeschooled by grandparents. Mother is a veterinarian. Father is a general practitioner doctor at a hospital. Grandmother and grandfather do the current homeschooling. All family members were hatched from eggs, attributed to the dragon heritage present in all of them. Family last name: Platypus.

Siblings:

Pillbug (older brother, age 12): Sea wing dragon.
Platypus Platypus Pillbug Platypus (older sister, age 13): Full name: Platypus Platypus Pillbug Platypus — first name Platypus, middle names Platypus and Pillbug, last name Platypus (the family last name). Half human, half dog — the dog gene traced back through a many-greats grandfather who was a dog, from when the world was ruled by animals. Also has dragon sub-types: sea wing, silk wing, and rain wing — can shoot venom from fangs (sea wing), see in the dark (sea wing), and spin silk (silk wing).
Platypus (younger brother, age 2): Species not specified beyond being part of the family.
Gold (oldest sister, age 19): Hybrid similar to Silver (part dragon, part cat, part human) but without silk wing or sea wing. Has silver hair and silver-and-gold fur.
Silkwing / “Silk” (youngest sister, age 1 day old at time of story): Silk wing with cat ears; also rain wing. Named herself on day one by pointing at a tapestry of silkwings, then pointing to herself repeatedly; her first word was something like “Mi Sil.” Goes by Silk. Has color-changing silk (evidence of rain wing heritage). Considered prodigious for naming herself on day one.

Grandparents:

Grandfather (current, homeschooling): Cat person with dog ears as his only dog feature. Has cat tail, cat paws, cat facial features, fur; meows but also talks.
Grandmother (current, homeschooling): Wild wing dragon.

Ancient Ancestors:

Many-greats grandmother: Wild wing dragon from Pyria.
Many-greats grandfather: Wild wing from Pantala.
How they came to Earth: A black hole opened in the sky — possibly created by “the dark stocker,” though unconfirmed — and they were pulled through it onto Earth, when the Earth was ruled by animals.

Home: Large apartment in Seattle — 8 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, playroom, and a 4DX-style theater room. Rent is only $4/month because the building owner is a billionaire ($15 billion) who doesn’t need the income.
