Sonic Hedgehog Girl (name undecided)
Age 12. From the Sonic universe. Her home planet collapsed; she had to leave when she was only one day old, in a tiny pod-like spaceship. She spent approximately one year traveling through space and black holes, visiting different worlds before arriving on Earth at age one. Sometimes spent two weeks inside black holes, which she found very boring.
Appearance: Orange coloring — an “orange blur” when she runs. Wears jeans she built herself that cycle through blue, purple, red, and orange, grow with her as she gets bigger, and can be tightened or loosened via a dial. Her t-shirt changes through every color of the rainbow.
Powers/Abilities: Super speed (orange blur). Super hearing — can hear a penny drop from two miles away.
Personality: Super shy but also super cool and strong. Deeply loves animals. Inventor and tinkerer — takes things apart and reassembles them in new ways; if given a clock it will be disassembled within two days.
Relationships: Knows and hangs out with Sonic and others from the Sonic universe.
Home: Lives in a forest. The entrance is a pile of rocks; behind them is a loopy-loop slide leading down into a giant underground cave. Inside the cave she built a treehouse — “half the tree is house and half the tree is tree” — approximately two-thirds house. Has running water, electricity, and a generator. She dug a hole through rock to let light in for the tree to grow. The treehouse has 10 floors, each connected by a loop-de-loop slide down to a ball pit; ascending uses a pneumatic air-blast tube with balls inside. She is constantly building and adding onto it. The cave yard has a slime pool (non-sticky, temperature-controlled), a hot tub, and a self-cleaning “cool pool.”
Inventions: Self-cleaning litter boxes (modified with contraptions). An elevator for her animals. A blanket made of a special animal-safe fabric she invented — perfectly soft. A pillow that shapes itself to the user’s body and retains that shape.
Animals: Has almost every kind of rescued animal. Specifically mentioned: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, two lynxes rescued from traps. An ant farm that her two lynxes love to watch for days at a time. She searches forests, deserts, and other places daily for animals to rescue.
Worlds visited before arriving on Earth:
1. Spider World — The entire planet was a giant spider and everything was made of spiders. She stayed only two days. She is now scared of spiders but still rescues them.
2. Talking Objects World — No humans; dumpsters talked, trees walked; everything was a food or object.
3. Googly Eyes World — All animals had functioning googly eyes; trees and plants had non-functioning googly eyes; the sun itself was one giant functioning googly eye.
4. Role-Reversal World — Animals acted like trees, plants, and objects; inanimate objects (dumpsters, stop signs) hopped around like animals — “dumpsters hopping around like bunnies and trees acting like mice.”
5. Candy Planet — Everything made of candy; features jello beds. She still visits occasionally, staying one day at a time.
